The IVERSON player action was invented in 1918 by Claus E Peterson who was also the owner of the Iverson Player Piano Co. Below is all of the information we've found about the action. The article about the patent is from the August 31, 1918 issue of the MTR (Music Trade Review). Other articles are from MTR, and the file names indicate the issue date. The company closed in 1921 after the death of its founder, Fred Iver Johnson, who was only 49 years old*.
