Regarding air motor speed control and governor, I think this is it: two places: a. speed control box at top and b. governor??? at bottom.
(see attachment and 2 other pics sent separately)
Rotate pic with this E-mail 90 degrees right to be upside up. There is a tiny bellows above and to right of black tube, with some small wooden linkages attached. This is on the front of a bellows on the right front of the main "bellows assembly" (where the pedals are). The right accumulator is behind this.
The "Inside speed control top partition cover" pic shows a diaphragm with the tube to the backside that sits over the red round plate towards the right of the top partition.
The "Inside right front bellows cover" pic shows dark circle where black tube ends and also a screw (adjustable from outside) that confines the movement of the wooden linkages attached to the tiny bellows. Would that be part of the air motor air supply governor? Would this screw be the adjustment for proper operation of the governor? The tiny bellows is about 1" square. Appears to have thin cloth. Appears to be in good condition too.
I don't see any other bellows on the piano that I haven't already mentioned. So I think I know how much cloth to order now anyway. Just wondered if I need to do anything with the air motor speed control or governor.
Thanks for all your help. I really appreciate it. Clyde Nordgren.

Since "Player-Care" is an internet business, I prefer that we correspond via E-Mail (click here to fill out the 'Request Form'). However, if I'm not in the middle of some other activity, you can reach me at 732-840-8787. But please understand that during the hours from 8AM-5PM EST (Mon-Sat), I'm generally quite busy. So, I probably won't answer the phone. If you get the answering machine, please leave a detailed message stating the reason for your call. Also, repeat your name and phone number clearly and distinctly. By necessity, I prioritize everything in my life. And, if you call and just leave your name and number, and ask me to call you back, it might be a day or two before I return your call. Why? Because I don't know why you want me to call and I might not be prepared to assist you in an effective and efficient manner. If you leave me an E-Mail address (which I prefer), spell it out phonetically. The more you do to help me, the more I can help you in return. Don't rush. You have four minutes to record your message. |
